has not given us
a spirit of fear,
but of power
and of love
and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Over the last few years, our community has faced much hardship; beginning with Hurricane Harvey in 2017, then Imelda in 2019, and now, at the beginning of 2020, the Coronavirus. It can seem overwhelming, but there is hope. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy, encouraging him to be faithful. He tells Timothy, and us, that we can trust in God's power, reflect God's love and think rightly about our circumstance. At this time, let God's Word sink deep into your heart and mind and be faithful!
There is no substitute for regularly joining together as the people of God in worship. However, there are times such as this when we are not able to do so.
You can watch this Sunday's 10:30 am service on this site or by joining us on Facebook.
